  1. A hidden gem of documentaries I caught this short documentary accidentally one day on PBS and was completely fascinated by the story. Living with turkeys from the very first crack of the egg, Joe Hutto describes his incredible journey in perfect detail. Educational, emotional, and surprisingly entertaining, this story has become one of my favorite documentaries.Give it a chance and you won't be disappointed.

In many ways it reminds me of the old disney nature videos.
