The highly anticipated sequel to the #1 New York Times best-selling original graphic novel is here in Wonder Woman: Earth One Vol. 2, from the acclaimed creative team of Grant Morrison and Yanick Paquette!

For years Diana of Paradise Island yearned to leave behind the only home she knew for adventures that lay beyond its shores. Now, after a fateful meeting with Air Force pilot Steve Trevor, the Amazon Warrior finds herself in Man's World. And she is ready for anything that it may throw at her.

But is the world ready for Wonder Woman? An American government, fraught with dissension and conflicts foreign to Diana, have deemed her a danger to society. How will Wonder Woman carry out her mission of peace and love in a world that can't get out of its own way? That is, unless there are more insidious forces at play...

Continuing the tradition of critically acclaimed Earth One tales that challenge the status quo of the comics industry, Wonder Woman: Earth One Vol. 2 is Grant Morrison's latest genre-rocking salvo. With illustrations from Yanick Paquette, this original graphic novel is a classic in the making.

  1. Welcome Back to DC, Grant I appear to be in the minority of people who really enjoyed volume one of Earth One: Wonder Woman and this is coming from someone who has been critical of a lot of things produced by Grant Morrison. Volume one had an aggregate score of 8.0 on Comic Book Round Up from professional reviewers. Early reviews are already putting volume two even lower and the Amazon reviews for volume one were a very soft 3.5 stars while I gave the first volume 5 stars. I think the people who didn’t like volume one...

  2. Fantastic art.. Story wise its very middle of the road, doesn't really do much but it sets up a few things for the future so that cool. The art!. The art is the real stand out here, Yanick Paquettes art is top notch he really captures the emotion of the characters. Yanicks action scenes are great and he draws the most beautiful women you could possibly imagine but also makes them super powerful looking and his panel layouts are absolutely amazing!

  3. four stars excellent ink, and colors. I like the Earth One series because of their excellent writing and stories, this issue let me down, not because of the mention of a GESTAPO division (SS be more correct) but the loving path of the Amazons in volume one has changed to a more radical path, more in the line of the New Batgirl. I'm just looking for fiction escapism. This would be the last Earth-One Wonder woman graphic novel that I would buy.
